Hauntings:
There have been reports of candles lighting by themselves, shadow figures, as well as ghostly dogs howling at the moon. A popular local legend, first recorded in 1839, tells of the headless ghost of a murdered French officer who rises on the full moon to search for his missing head.
In Sedona, Arizona, there is an area that contains the concentrated energies rising from the red stoned earth. Some believe that the Vortexes of Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, Boynton Canyon, Airport Mesa and other vortexes are portals to celestial and terrestrial spirits.
It is long been revered as the spiritual centre of the earth. But regardless of your beliefs you will definitely feel something just being in the vicinity of one of these incredible spots - from tingling on your skin to vibrations emanating from the ground.
The energy swirls out of the earth and the nearby vegetation is affected. Trees have spiralling trunks and are gnarled by the forces.
Climbing to the top of Boynton Canyon Vortex is a steep uphill climb. As you ascend, you will begin to find renewed energy and your previous breathlessness is replaced by a calming peace - your pulse slows drastically and exertion is effortless.
Claudia's experience at Boynton Canyon - Ted and I spent one full day, visiting each of the main vortexes around the town of Sedona. While we conducted EVP sessions and videos, the winds at the top of each location swallowed out any possible communications with the spirits - each recording has a thrumming, humming wind whispering sound. But then again, perhaps this was Mother Earth singing to us.
Trekking the mile or so from the empty parking lot to the base of Boynton Canyon in the late afternoon, we noticed that there were no other hikers and the area took on a very eerie feeling. Suddenly on the path ahead of us, this older gentleman with a long walking stick, white goatee and Tilly hat pulled low over his eyes, came into view. As he approached, he held out his closed hand. Opening it, he showed us this silver dollar sized red rock shaped like a heart. He said to me, "This was meant for you," and placed it in my palm.
Looking down and distracted for a few seconds, I turned to thank him and he wasn't there anymore. We didn't hear him walk off and weren't quite sure how he could have rounded the next bend so quickly. Shaking our heads and thinking, oh well, we continued to the Vortex, climbing up the steep incline to our final destination.
Once we got up there, we noticed a tree containing lots of red rocks nesting in the V formed by the branches of a twisted and gnarled tree. It was then I realized that this heart belonged up here, and after a tantric meditation it was placed with all the other prayers to this mystical vortex.
One of Niagara area's favorite urban legends has to be the Screaming Tunnel. There are many variations of the story, but let's go with this one.
Early in the 1900's, there stood a house not far from the south end of the tunnel. One day the drunken husband set his house on fire, killing his wife. The daughter escaped and ran away, ending up in the tunnel. Her enranged father caught up with her and lit her on fire right in the tunnel.
If you light a wooden match inside the tunnel on a full moon, it will be blown out .... followed by a blood curdling scream!
This is a hotspot for teenagers seeking out a spooky experience or a place to sneak off to drink beer.
We went to investigate one day but there were too many spiritseekers so we returned the following week where we had the place all to ourselves. We conducted five EVP sessions inside the tunnel with no results.
Close to Niagara so it is a nice addition to a trip to the Falls. Located on Warner Road, Thorold.

INVESTIGATION REPORT:
Thank you for providing me with your photos to review. My team has studied these photos and here are our conclusions.
Although these photos may appear to contain ecto mist, our team discounts both pictures because (a) presence of cigarette smoking (b) possible cool temperatures.
Photo 1 - Because there is a cigarette in the gentleman's hand, and his posturing may indicate that he had just exhaled to the his right which may have formed this fog. The camera flash could possibly have enhanced the density and brightness of the smoke exhalation.
Also wearing the jackets indoors may also indicate that the temperature was cool enough to produce exhalation fog in the same direction.
So with the two possibilities, this photo has to be discounted.
Photo 2 - This has to be discounted as well because there is a lighter and cigarette on the table in the foreground. Therefore there is a possibility of a smoker within the room and therefore smoke exhilation could be possible.

a. Garage area - shadowman, apparitiion inside vehicle
b. Secretarys' Office - employee named Annabella.
c. Ruthie - little girl murdered in basement - apparitions, and audio.
d. Simon - beheadedemployee alleged to have killed Ruthie.
e. 8 resident spirits and 24 transient that drop in through vortex.

Personal experience: Under the end of the table on the right side, is a little cubby hole
with door on the floor. It is reported that Ruthie hides in this cubby. When I walked
into the room and found myself in front of the open door, I felt this feeling of panic and
dread so I quickly repositioned myself down the table, away from this location.
